Makeup Monday- Urban Decay Electric Palette

Today I have the Urban Decay Electric Pressed Pigment Palette to show you!

It's a collection of 10 pressed pigments (mostly neons), a double sided brush, and a built in mirror. The palette and brush are cruelty free, so that's a plus.

Here's the palette-

Left to right- Revolt, Gonzo, Slowburn, Savage, Fringe
Left to right- Chaos, Jilted, Urban, Freak, Thrash
To see swatches of the colors click below! (Warning, this is a picture heavy post)
For these swatches I used an eyeshadow base for the pictures on the right, and no base on the left. I used Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion, my go-to base for eyeshadows. It brings out the color in shadows, and helps them apply smoothly and without pulling or creasing.

The photos on top are taken without flash, the ones below with.

I've included the descriptions that Urban Decay gives the colors below the photos.
Revolt bright metallic silver shimmer w/ silver glitter
Gonzobright turquoise matte w/ floating tonal pearl
Slowburn- bright red-orange matte w/ floating pearl
Savage- bright hot pink matte
Fringe- bright metallic teal
Chaos- bright blue matte w/ floating tonal pearl
Jilted- bright metallic fuchsia w/ blue shift
Urban- bright metallic purple
Freak- bright green w/ gold shift
Thrash- bright lime green matte w/floating gold pearl

Technically Slowburn, Savage, Jilted, and Urban are not intended for use in the immediate eye area, however, many people have been using them as eyeshadows.

Here is the official warning- "Slowburn, Savage, Jilted and Urban contain a colorant that is not approved for the eye area in the US, Canada and Brazil"

However, the colorant is approved elsewhere, so I took the chance and have used it successfully in my eye area. However, if you have sensitive skin, or are at all worried, please stay clear of the colors that are not currently FDA approved.

In case you were wondering what my arm looked like after swatching!
Not up for such bright colors? Try one of the Urban Decay Naked Palettes. If you want to branch out I would definitely recommend using the Electric Palette to add some pop!
